The Mecklenburg County Board of Commissioners requested inclusion of all Mecklenburg County funded agencies in the Environmental Leadership Policy. Mecklenburg County funded agencies include: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Public Library of Charlotte & Mecklenburg County, and Central Piedmont Community College.

Each of these agencies report to their respective Boards in addition to the Board of County Commissioners regarding the Environmental Leadership Policy.
