Change in payment process:
Starting March 29, 2010, LUESA-North and LUESA-South will not be able to accept check and cash payments at all times. This change is due to reduced workload, budget cuts, and staff reassignments.
In general, LUESA-North will accept cash and check payments on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Credit card payments can be made during any regular office hours.

Residential Building Permits -
residential permitting to include single family and duplex buildings for small additions, renovations, and accessory structures.
Residential Plan Review -
review residential plans for projects that meet one or all of the following criteria:
- 500 sq. ft. or less of heated space
- Construction cost of $40,000 or less.
Land Development Plan Review -
review site development plans for compliance to ordinances, standards and specifications.
Land Development Inspection -
inspect roadway and drainage construction |
Residential Technical Answer Center -
provide technical assistance and code information to the general public. (By phone or in person from 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. - 704-432-2520.)
Housing Code Compliance -
enforce the minimum housing code in Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville. Enforce the Mecklenburg County abandoned and junk vehicle ordinance.
Zoning permits and inspections -
Administer and enforce the zoning regulations adopted by Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville.
Water Quality -
investigate and resolve water quality problems. |
