The Director coordinates implementation of all commitments that MeckCARES has to its federal funding source, SAMHSA, including development and monitoring of the Community Collaborative Strategic Plan. The Director provides support and technical assistance to system partners regarding SOC implementation and fidelity to the model at all levels and encourages adherence to the 10 Principles of MeckCARES and the Community Practice Standards.

The Assistant Director serves as assistant to the Director and is charged with ensuring effective communication across the child serving system, particularly as related to the Community Collaborative and the subcommittees, and ensures the work of the subcommittees supports advancement of the overall Strategic Plan.  The Assistance Director is also charged with supporting all efforts towards sustainability of MeckCARES by fostering the sense of community ownership of SOC and expanding the array of stakeholders involved.  Additionally, the assistant director functions as the MeckCARES enrollment coordinator.

The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for direct supervision of the MeckCARES staff with the exception of the Director and Assistant Director.  In addition, the Clinical Supervisor provides clinical case consultation for contracted providers and is ultimately charged with coordinating and overseeing various efforts which promote clinical fidelity to the wraparound process & system of care philosophy in all aspects of business and work with families. Additionally, the Clinical Supervisor manages the SOC Coaching process.

The Training Coordinator manages the MeckCARES Training Institute and facilitates the Training Leadership team to coordinate the development of curricula, training of local professionals and parents as certified SOC Trainers.  The training coordinator serves as the point person for training registration/documentation and works with the Social Marketing Committee to ensure they have all the information necessary to successfully market the MeckCARES Training Institute. In addition, the Training Coordinator finds locations and training for all SOC trainings; works to ensure that trainers have the tools that they need to be able to make their presentations and is the liaison between the Collaborative and the Training Work Team.

The role of the court liaison is to serve as the primary point of contact for judges and other court staff involved with potentially high risk cases of consumers enrolled with Mecklenburg County Area Mental Health. As a liaison between the LME and the court system, the overarching goal of this position is to minimize risk and liability for court involved cases; while fostering seamless communication and education that positively impacts consumers and families as they encounter the court system process.  Inherent in this role, the court liaison will also work to advance fidelity to the Wraparound process and SOC driving principles.

The role of the data analyst is to manage MeckCARES data.  Accordingly, the data analyst generates multiple reports to specifically evaluate outcome data inclusive of, but not limited to the following domains:  enrollments, trainings, performance improvement reviews, Care Reviews, TRAC and provider deliverables. In addition to managing data, the data analyst strives to identify opportunities for quality improvement and to also make recommendations that will foster the implementation and sustainability of MeckCARES.

ParentVOICE provides information, support, and opportunities that strengthen and inspire youth with mental health challenges, and their families/caregivers, to learn, lead, participate, and advocate for quality services and successful outcomes. It is an organization staffed by parents and caregivers of youth with emotional, behavioral, or mental health concerns. They offer individual family support, support groups, training, and advocacy.

Parent Voice Youth Group: Active Council Taking Initiative to Voice Empowerment (A.C.T.I.V.E.)

A.C.T.I.V.E Youth is a support group that helps voice and support the opinions of youth while building strong leaders in the community.  A.C.T.I.V.E. Youth discuss issues that are relevant to them and strive to erase the stigma of mental health.  This open-minded group welcomes any and every youth who has concerns about their emotional, behavioral or mental health challenges and wishes to participate.  Support group meetings are held the fourth Tuesday of every month from 6pm to 8pm at Grace United Methodist Church in Charlotte.

MeckCARES System of Care (SOC) Liaisons:
SOC Liaison will function as an internal champion for adherence to the SOC Guiding Principles and Wraparound process specific to their agency affiliation and holistically as business is done in general.

The position of the SOC Liaison is designed to serve as part of a team of support for children and families enrolled in MeckCARES and their respective formal and informal supports. The overarching purpose of the position is to advance fidelity to the Wraparound process and ensure sustainability of SOC implementation in Mecklenburg County.  Below is a list of the current SOC Liaisons:
