SOC Coaching is a method of technical assistance designed to support Community Support workers who facilitate Child and Family Teams (CFTs) for MeckCARES enrollees. Once assigned, an SOC coach functions as a member of the CFT and strives to improve CFT cohesion, while increasing fidelity to the principles of System of Care and the Wraparound Process. SOC coaches are assigned to teams for a maximum of six months (unless otherwise justified) and work in collaboration with team members to create strength-based Person Centered Plans.
