These events are coordinated by the Domestic Violence Advocacy Council's (DVAC) Public Awareness Subcommittee, in cooperation with the Women's Commission, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department's DV Unit, and other businesses and civic groups. 

These free workshops are held the first Tuesday of every month from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 507 South Tryon Street. (map).  Parking is available in the On-The-Green parking garage off of Tryon Street at First Street.  Bring your ticket to the workshop and it will be validated.
