Need a career? Need new direction? Need hope? This and more will be provided at the New Choices employment program for Displaced Homemakers and Single Parents. Seminars led by professional trainers include self-esteem, career exploration, resume writing, interviewing, job search, how to dress for success, financial management, goal setting, and Internet Job Search. The Women's Commission offers the following free services...
Individual/Group Counseling Individual counseling and support groups are offered to victims of domestic violence. To schedule a confidential session and/or register for support group(s), please call at 704-336-3210.
Educational Programs/Community Outreach/Training Educational programs for support persons of domestic violence victims (family, friends, neighbors, employees, etc.) are offered. Community awareness efforts include conferences, training, workshops and special events for professionals and non-professionals. The program serves as a clearinghouse for domestic violence information.
